The Ontario Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Dental Program is managed by The Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health but is funded by the Ministry of Health. Families interested can apply and get financial assistance for the specialized dental care of the person.

It is known that due to the peculiarity of this case, the expertise of a team of specialists is required (medical, dental, and so on). This can be expensive for some folks, hence the importance of this program.

An eligible person for this should be a kid or youth with a cleft lip and/or palate or other craniofacial difference. Additionally, they are to be a resident of Ontario with a valid OHIP number.
